    filed a status report with the Board.
    The status report indicates that all appellate briefs have been
    filed in Appeal No.
    1-92-4145,
    Board of Education,
    Community
    Consolidated School District No.
    15, Cook County v. Thomas
    L.
    Armstead and the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
    The School
    District also notes that oral argument has been requested but no
    date for argument has been set.
    As noted
    in previous status
    reports, resolution of the issue before the appellate court may
    resolve the issues raised
    in the petition for review before the
    Board.
    To assure that this matter before the Board
    is handled as
    expeditiously as possible, the School District is instructed to
    inform the Board promptly of any changes in the current status of
    these proceedings.
    The School District is directed to continue
    filing status reports every six months or sooner
    if the
    circumstances warrant.
    The next status report
    is to be filed
    with the Board on or before February
