    This matter is before the Board pursuant to a Motion to Cancel
    Hearing and Stay Proceeding filed by the General Motors Corporation
    on November
    12,
    1993.
    On June 23,
    1993,
    General Motors filed
    a
    petition seeking site specific relief regarding the fluoride water
    quality standard in the receiving waters at its facility located in
    Danville,
    Illinois.
    By hearing officer order,
    the Board set this
    matter for hearing on December 7,
    1993 in Danville.
    The
    motion
    provides
    that
    in
    preparing
    for
    hearing
    and
    reviewing
    past
    Board
    decisions
    and
    additional
    data
    on
    plant
    operations, General Motors recognized it needed to expand the scope
    of
    its site specific relief
    to
    include
    total
    dissolved
    solids
    (TDS).
    General Motors intends to file an amended petition within
    sixty days and requests that the Board
    cancel the December 7th
    hearing
    and
    stay
    this
    matter
    until
    such
    time
    as
    the
    amended
    petition is filed.
    We. hereby
    grant
    the
    Motion
    to
    Cancel
    Hearing
    and
    Stay
    Proceedings.
    The Board directs General Motors to file within sixty
    days of the entry of this order, either the amended petition or a
    request that the stay be extended for a time certain.
