ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by J. Anderson):
On June 25,
1993,
Pekin Metro Landfill
(Pekin)
filed a
motion requesting the Board to extend the briefing schedule in
this matter.
On that same date, Pekin waived the October
1,
1993
deadline to December
1,
1993.
In its motion,
Pekin requests that the briefing schedule be
delayed sixty
(60)
days.
Pekin asserts that the delay will allow
for settlement discussion that,
if successful, would result in
settlement of all matters pending between the parties.
Pekin
adds that the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency does not
object to the motion.
The Board hereby grants Pekin’s request that the briefing
schedule be extended 60 days.
