    ORDER
    OF THE BOARD
    (by R.C. Flemal):
    On October 18,
    1993 the Illinois Environmental Protection
Agency (Agency) filed a rulemaking petition in which it proposes
that the Board amend the Groundwater Quality Standards at 35 Ill.
Adm. Code 620 to incorporate those constituents that were
promulgated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency
as National Primary Drinking Water Standards (40 C.F.R.
    §S
141.121 through 141.30) and are found as contaminants in Illinois
    drinking water.
In addition, the Agency has proposed amendments
    to address typographical errors found
    in the current rule text.
After a review of the proposal, the Board finds that the
proposal substantially meets the requirements of the
Environmental Protection Act (415 ILCS 5/1 et seq.) and the
    Board’s procedural rules.
The proposal is accepted for hearing.
The Board directs the hearing officer to set hearings consistent
    with current requirements.
The hearing officer is authorized and
directed to require the Agency to provide any additional
    information which may be necessary.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
