    ORDER OF THE BOARD (by R.C. Flemal):
    On January 4, 2000, petitioner filed for variance from 35 Ill. Adm. Code 602.106(a).
    The petition does not comply with 35 Ill. Adm. Code 104.122, because it fails to address
    whether the Board may grant the variance consistent with federal law. Furthermore, the
    petition does not comply with 35 Ill. Adm. Code 104.124, because it does not contain a request
    for hearing, or a statement waiving hearing, accompanied by affidavits or other proof in
    support of the material facts alleged in the petition.
    If petitioner fails to file an amended petition within 45 days which cures these
    deficiencies, the petition may be subject to dismissal.
