ORDER OF THE BOARD (by C. A. Manning):
This matter is before the Board on respondent, Caterpillar,
Inc.’s September 27, 1994 motion to appear
pro hac
vice.
Respondent moves that Michael J. Gergen, an attorney licensed to
practice in New York, and who has recently moved to the State of
Illinois, be allowed to appear
pro hac vice.
That motion to
appear is granted.
Additionally, the complainants filed a motion on September
27, 1994 requesting an extension of time of 14 days in which to
file a response to Caterpillar’s September 20, 1994 motion to
dismiss on frivolous and duplicitous grounds. Counsel for the
complainants cites to, among other things, his participation in a
trial presently on-going in the Circuit Court of Cook County.
Complainants’ motion for additional time is granted. The
response shall now be due on or before October 12, 1994.
