This matter is before the Board on a joint motion for an

extension of stay and a joint status report,

filed on January 5,

1995 by Abbott Laboratories and the Illinois Environmental

Protection Agency

(Agency).

The Agency submitted a proposed rule

to the Board on October 28,

1994 (docket R94-31).

The parties

note that the proposed rule would provide the relief requested by

Abbott in its petition for adjusted standard filed February 14,

1994.

Thus, the parties request that the Board stay this

proceeding until adoption of that amended rule.

The motion for stay is granted until June 15,

1995.

The

parties are directed to file status reports, either jointly or

separately,

no later than June

5,

1995.
