Preliminary Order:

These four petitions request variances to connect new buildings

to overloaded facilities

in the North Shore Sanitary District.

They are quite uninformative

and should be amended to give the in-

formation required by

our rules.

In the interest of expedition

we will not dismiss the

cases but will hold them for disposition

without hearing

in the light of the Agency’s recommendations.

The

burden of proof is on

the petitioner,

and given the scanty nature

of these petitions the petitioners would be well advised to supply

further information in the form of affidavits that will bring

these cases,

if possible, within the precedents

set by this Board.
