    #R71-2: Revisions of Mississippi River Standards for Turbidity,
    Dissolved Solids and Inorganic Solids
    (As adopted March 17,
    1971)
    Amend SWB-12 and 13 as follows:
    1.)
    Add to Rule
    1.04 of SWB-l2
    the
    following:
    “e).
    Dissolved solids:
    Not to exceed 500 mg/l as
    a monthly average
    value nor exceed
    750 mg/i at anytime.”
    2.)
    Add to Rule 1.05 of SWB-l3 the following:
    “13.
    Dissolved Solids
    Not to exceed 500 mg/i as
    a monthly average
    value,
    nor exceed 750 mg/i at anytime.”
    3.)
    Add
    to Rule 2,05 of SWB-i3 the following:
    “12,
    Dissolved Solids
    Not to exceed 500 mg/i
    as
    a monthly average value,
    nor exceed 750 mg/l at anytime.”
    4,)
    Repeal section
    a of paragraph
    8 of Rule
    2.05 in SWB-i3
    and in its place substitute the following:
    “a,
    There shall be no man—made deposits of organic
    or inorganic
    solids on the stream bed.”
    5,)
    Add to Rule
    2.05 of SWB-l3
    the following:
    “13,
    Turbidity
    There shall be no turbidity of other than natural
    origin that will cause substantial visible contrast
    with
    the natural appearance of or interfere with
    any legitimate uses of th~stream.”
    6.)
    Add to Rule 1.03 of SWB-12
    the following:
    “e).
    Free from turbidity of other than natural origin
    that will cause substantial visible contrast with
    the natural appearance of or inter~~ewith any
    legitimate uses
    of
    the stream,”
