Adm.

Code 301.267,
301 .313,
301.413, 304.120, and 309.157.
Dear Cathy:
Enclosed please find a revised rule proposed by the Illinois Association ofWastewater
Agencies (IAWA).
JAWA made these changes well in advance ofthe second hearing to allow
every interested party the opportunity to review the revised rule and provide input at the
hearing.
As promised at the hearing, this rule has been revised to include all the changes suggested by the
Illinois Environmental Protection Agency in the Pre-Filed Testimony ofBob Mosher.
IAWA
has provided the document to the Agency for review and input.
IAWA also made certain changes suggested by the Board at the first hearing in this
matter.
These changes include the addition ofa definition of “Early Life Stages,” which TAWA
took from the ORSANCO rule and which was also used by Dr. Robert Sheehan in his work in
this matter.
IAWA also added the word “water” before temperature throughout therule,
removedthe words “Summer” and “Winter” in Sections 302.212(b)(2) and (e)
and replaced them
with the “Early Life Stage Present period” and “Early Life Stage Absent period,” and clarified
Section 302.21 2(c)(3) on the sampling required to evaluate attainment.
Yours very truly,
Sheila H. Deely
