    This matter comes before the Board upon two filings by Cabot
    Corporation
    (Cabot)
    on December
    5,
    1995.
    The first is
    a Motion
    for Expedited Consideration and the second is a Withdrawal
    of
    Motion For Stay.
    Cabot requests that the Board expedite its consideration of
    the adjusted standard so the Board will be in a position to act
    on the petition at the same time or soon after the United States
    Environmental Protection Agency
    (USEPA)
    takes
    final action.
    The
    USEPA had tentatively scheduled a hearing on the same matter for
    January 5,
    1996 and will be accepting comments until January
    19,
    1996.
    The Board grants the motion for expedited consideration
    and will accommodate Cabot’s motion as much
    as practicable given
    the Board’s time and resources.
    Additionally,
    the Board hereby
    accepts the withdrawal of motion for stay.
