received
a
letter
and
Interim
Statement
from
the
Mining
Industry
Task
Force
on
Impulsive
Noise
and
Vibration.
It
is
proposed
by
the
Task
Force
(which
is
a
body
established
by
the
predecessor
to
the
Institute
of
Natural
Resources)
that
Rule
209(f)
of
Chapter
8:
Noise
Regulations,
be
amended
to
read
as
follows:

and
new

is

On June
11,
1980,
the Illinois Institute
of Natural Resources
filed
a
statement: with the Board
that
an
economic
impact
statement:
is
not: technically feasible at this time due to lack of economic
parameters
and
essential data which will
be available oniy
upon
completion
ol
a study recently commissioned by the U.S. Bureau of
Mincs.
Accordingly,
the Board hereby authorizes
the holding of
consolidated,
hearings
on
the
substance
and economic impact
of
the
proposed
regulation
change.
