This matter is before the Board on respondents’
status
report filed September
1,
1995.
Respondents state that after a
draft Part
B Permit was issued to
CWM
Chemical Services,
Inc.
(CWM)
on March
15,
1995,
a public meeting was held on May
3,
1995
and the comment period closed June 2,
1995.
On June 30,
1995 the
Illinois Environmental Protection Agency issed a final RCRA
permit.
CWM
has represented that it will seek dismissal of this
matter as soon as the transfer of its assets to Clean Harbors of
Chicago is completed.
As such,
respondents requeste
a
continuance of the Stay,
and an additional status date.
The Board accepts respondents’
status report,
and
appreciates their diligent and timely efforts in keeping the
Board informed in this matter.
However, we anticipate an
immediate resolution in this six-year—old case.
Therefore, the
Board grants t1~econtinuance of the Stay until November
6,
1995,
and orders the parties to submit status reports on or before
November
6,
1995.
