Dear Ms. Gunn:
I
understand that there was testimony given at the September 21 St hearing
concerning Peaker Plants indicating that the City of Zion was considering the
approval of three peaker plant projects.
I respectfully request that
it be noted
in
the record that the City of Zion is only considering
one peaker power plant
project.
The Mayor has made several public announcements that the Skygen
peaker plant
project is the only project being considered by the City.
An air
quality permit application has been filed with IEPA by Carlton Power however
that site is
not in the City of Zion and is not zoned for a peaker plant.
Again
Mayor Harrison has announced publicly that that project is
not being considered
by the
City.
