HEARING OFFICER ORDER
The July 20, 2001 hearing in Chicago is cancelled. The rescheduled date for the Chicago
hearing is as follows:
SECOND HEARING AUGUST 23, 2001
1:00 p.m.
James R. Thompson Center
100 W. Randolph Street
Suite 11-500
Chicago, Illinois 60601
On June 15, 2001, the Illinois Environmental Regulatory Group (IERG) filed a motion
requesting a third hearing due to “the short time frame involved between the deadline for the [Illinois
Environmental Protection Agency] to respond to filed questions and the deadline for pre-filed testimony
for the Second Hearing”. The rescheduled date for the Chicago hearing provides more than a month of
additional time for IERG to prepare. Accordingly, the motion to request a third hearing is denied.
The new deadline for the Clerk of the Board to receive prefiled testimony for the August 23,
2001 hearing is August 9, 2001. The mailbox rule does not apply. All questions for the Illinois
Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) must be received by the Board on or before July 20, 2001.
The Agency’s response must be received by the Board on or before August 1, 2001.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
