    (Adjusted Standard - Water)
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by N.J. Melas):

On April 30, 2001, petitioners Rhodia, Inc. and Thorn Creek Basin Sanitary District filed a
petition for an adjusted standard from 35 Ill. Adm. Code 302.208 and 304.105. The Illinois
Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) is required to file a recommendation to a petition for an
adjusted standard within 45 days of the filing of the petition. See 35 Ill. Adm. Code 104.416. The 45-
day deadline lapsed on June 14, 2001.
On June 15, 2001, the Agency filed a motion for extension of time to file recommendation and
affidavit (motion). The Agency has not had sufficient time to complete an internal technical review of the
petition. The Agency requests an additional 45 days to file its recommendation.
The attorney for the Agency states that the attorneys for the petitioner have agreed to the
motion and that petitioner will suffer no prejudice if the Board grants the motion.
The Board grants the motion and directs the Agency to file its recommendation in this matter no
    later than July 30, 2001.
At this time, the Board makes no determination on the sufficiency of the petition.

    IT IS SO ORDERED.

I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, hereby certify that the above
order was adopted on the 21st day of June 2001 by a vote of 7-0.

    Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk
    Illinois Pollution Control Board
