    ORDER OF THE BOARD (by G.T. Girard):
    On May 22, 1996, petitioner filed a motion for leave to file an amended petition and a
    waiver of public hearing. The Board accepts the amended petition and notes that the filing of
    an amended petition restarts the statutory decision deadline in a variance proceeding.
    The Board has previously directed that this matter be set for hearing. However, the
    objection which led to the matter being set for hearing was withdrawn on December 18, 1995.
    Therefore, unless a new request for hearing is filed pursuant to Section 37(a) of the
    Environmental Protection Act, a hearing will not be scheduled.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
