ORDER OF THE BOARD (by G.T. Girard):
On, August 14, 1996, Harris Marcus Group, Inc. (HMG) filed a “Motion For Leave to
Supplement Record and Affidavit”. The information in the motion amends HMG’s request for
relief by indicating that a variance is no longer needed for the wood furniture coating
operations. The motion also provides new information regarding the VOM content of coatings
used in the metal furniture process. The Board will construe this motion as an amended
petition which will restart the decision timeclock pursuant to Section 38 of the Act. The
Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) shall file any amendment to its
recommendation within 30 days pursuant to 35 Ill. Adm. Code 104.180.
As a hearing has been held in this proceeding the Board will not schedule a second
hearing unless requested. The Board will decide this case as expeditiously as practicable after
    receiving the Agency’s recommendation.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, hereby certify that
the above order was adopted on the _____ day of ___________, 1996, by a vote of
    ______________.
