Respondent.
ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by Mr. Henss)
The City of Harvard submitted a letter on July 10, 1973
requesting permission to burn trees which had been damaged
by storm or Dutch Elm disease.
The request did not give
us
that information which is required under our Procedural Rule
No.
401 and was therefore inadequate as a variance petition.
In recognition of
this,
the City of Harvard has now requested
that the letter be withdrawn.
It is stated that the City of
Harvard will file
a variance petition containing more information
at a future time.
This proceeding is therefore dismissed at request of
Petitioner and for the further reason that the variance petition
is inadequate.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Christan L. Moffett, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certify the above Order was adopted this
