ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by J.
Anderson):
On June 25,
1981 the Board granted Chevy Chase an additional
90 days in which to file a final report required by Paragraphs
3
and 4 of the Board’s Order of February 19,
1981.
This report wa~3
timely filed on
September
23,
1981,
in the form of a letter.
The letter does not indicate that copies were sent to
the
other
parties
in this action.
Pursuant to the terms of the February Order, based on the
information contained in the letter the Board should deem that
Buffalo Grove and Lake County have refused to accept sewage from
the Chevy Chase plant.
However, the Board notes that the Chairman
of the Lake County Board has had little opportunity to reply to a
letter sent by registered mail September 18, 1981
(sent after
Chevy Chase had been informed that a September 1,
1981 letter had
been misdirected).
As this action has been characterized by imperfect
communication, the Board wishes to make sure, before a final
exercise of jurisdiction in this matter, that both it and all
the
parties to this action are fully advised.
Chevy Chase i~there-
fore ordered to serve copies of its September 18, 1981 l~tter/
report on all parties to this action on or before October
1,
1981,
and to so certify to the Board.
All parties are given l?ave to
file responses or comments,
if any, on or before October
15,
1981.
IT

ORDERED.
