OF THE WATER POLLUTION
CONTROL REGULATIONS
IN THE MATTER OF:
Prpposed Rule.
 Second Notice.

On September 3,
 1981,
 the Board adopted
 a proposed rule,
first notice Order in this rulemaking.
 This
was published in
the Illinois Register
 (5
 Ill,
 Reg.
 9517,
 Issue
 39, September 25,
1981).
 The
public comment
 period has now elapsed, and no comments
have been received.
 The
Clerk
 is directed
 to initiate the second
notice period.
 It should be
 noted that Chapter
 3 is being codified
in R8l-3 and Section 302,208,
 cited below, corresponds to the old
Rule 203(f).
It is the Order of the Illinois Pollution Control Board that
Rule 203.1 of Chapter 3:
 Water Pollution Regulations be amended
to add the following section:
Section 303.322
 Unnamed Tributary of the
 Vermilion River.
The fluoride standard
 of
 §302.208 shall
 not apply
to waters of the
 State which are located
 from the
point of a discharge
 to an unnamed
 tributary of
the Vermilion River,
 said point being
 located 3900
feet south of the
 Vermilion River, 1900
 feet north
of 1—74,
 at 40°6~35~
 north latitude and
 87°68~52”
west longitude, to
 the confluence of said unnamed
tributary with the Vermilion River;
 and
 from there
downstream to its
 juncture with the Indiana
 State
Border,
 Fluoride
 levels in such waters
 shall meet
a water quality
 standard for fluoride
 (Storet
#00950) of
 5 mg/l.
