It

is the Order of the Illinois Pollution Control Board that

Rule 203(g)(1) of Chapter

2,

Air Pollution Control Rules and Regu-

lations,

be amended to add the following subsection:

(E)

New and Existing Coal—fired Industrial Boilers Equipped

with Flue Gas Desulfurization Systems.

Notwithstanding sub—paragraphs

(A)—(D) of Rule 203(g)(1),

no person

shall cause or allow the emission of particuiat~

matter into the atmosphere from new or existing coal—fired

industrial boilers equipped with flue gas desulfurization

systems to exceed 0.25 pounds of particulate matter per

million Btu’s of actual heat input

in any one—hour period.
