On May 12,

1978, Petitioner requested a variance from

various provisions

of the Board~sWater Pollution Regulations.

The Petition

is inadequate for failure

to specifically re-

quest or waive a hearing as required by Procedural Rule

401(b).

It

is also inadequate for failure to comply with

the requirements of Procedural

Rule

401(a)

(7),

The Petition

fails to disclose impact of any discharge or seepage from

continued operations at the landfill site on the waters of

the State.

The 90-day decision period shall begin with

the filing of the Amended Petition,

If these deficiencies are not corrected within 45

days of the date of this Order,

this matter will be subject

to dismissal.
