INTERIM ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by Dr. Satchell):
On April 20,
1977 Ronald Carison filed a Petition for
Variance.
Under Procedural Rule 401 the Board finds this
petition to be inadequate.
The petition does not include
the size of the business, number of employees or a descrip-
tion of the nature and extent of the present failure to meet
the provisions from which relief is requested.
The petition
must also contain a request for a hearing if desired by
petitioner or,
in the alternative, a statement waiving a
hearing, accompanied by such affidavits or other proof in
support of the material facts alleged in the petition
sufficient to enable the Board,
if it so decides,
to rule
upon the petition without a hearing.
Petitioner may remedy
some of the inadequacy by referencing into this proceeding.
the record of the previous enforcement case, PCB 76—29.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Christan L. Moffett, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution
Control Board, hereby certify the ab ye Interim Order was
