    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by Mr. Goodman):
    On August 23, 1976,
    the Environmental Protection Agency
    (Agency)
    submitted Proposed Amendments to Rules
    101,
    205,
    206 and 209 of the
    Noise Regulations.
This proposal was submitted in conjunction with
    ~ rending forging noise proposal,
    R76-14
    However,
    the Agepcy’s pro-
    posal
    includes
a total elimination of Rule 205,
    Sound Emitted to
Class C land, and eliminates the provisions
    in Rule 206 relating to
impulsive sound emitted to Class C land.
    Such
    a proposal addresses
all sound emitted to Class C land,
not merely sound caused by impact
    forging operations.
Because the scope of the Agency’s proposal
    is
broader than the scope of the original prop~sa1in R76—14,
    the Board
will assign the Agency’s proposal a separate docket number and will
consolidate it for purposes of hearing with R76-l4.
