Respondent.
ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by Mr. Werner):
On August
6, 1979, Mr. Andrew A. Rathsack, P.E.,
sent the Board
a letter indicating that Mr. Arthur Light had retained his engineer-
ing firm
(Environmental Engineering,
Inc.)
to assist Mr. Light in
obtaining an Operating Permit for a landfill near Pottstown,
Illinois.
In his letter, Mr. Rathsack stated that, although they are
actively working toward getting an Operating Permit,
it will be
impossible for them to do so in the 120 day time period allotted in
the Board’s Order of April 12,
1979.
Therefore, the letter requested
a time extension of
90 days to obtain the requisite Operating Permit
from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency
(“Agency”).
The Board liereby construes this letter as a Petition for a
Variance from a Board Order and hereby dockets this variance as case
number P03 79-172 and sets it for Agency recommendation.
IT
