This matter is before the Board on a Petition for Variance
filed by Ed Willing,
d/b/a Lone Pine Gun Club
(Willing)
for his
facility located in Adams County approximately five miles East
Southeast of Quincy,
Illinois.
Petitioner requests variance from
Rules
102 and 206 of Chapter
8 of the Board’s Pollution Control
Regulations
(Noise Pollution)
until October
31,
1977.
In an
Opinion and Order adopted earlier today the Board determined,
inter alia, that Willing shall cease and desist violation of the
aforementioned Rules no later than October 31, 1977.
The relief
requested by Willing in this Petition
is therefore no longer
required,
and the Board hereby dismisses this action as moot.
