    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
    On August 30, 2005, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with the
    hearing officer. Respondent’s technical unit is reviewing additional information regarding the
    closure plan, but does not anticipate any problems. Once the review is complete, the closure
    permit will be issued, and petitioner will withdraw its appeal. Petitioner agreed to file an
    additional waiver of the decision deadline within the next seven days.
     
    The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
    officer at 10:30 a.m. on September 29, 2005. The status conference shall be initiated by the
    petitioner.
     
    The decision deadline is currently December 1, 2005.
