    PROTECTION AGENCY,
    Respondent.
    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by J. Theodore Meyer):
    This matter
    is before the Board
    on petitioner’s status
    report filed on June 30,
    1995.
    Petitioner states that it has
continued its tank farm closure, decontamination and fire
    suppression installation activities which began
    in
    1991, shortly
    after submitting a new
    RCRA
    Part B Permit application.
    The
    Illinois Environmental Protection Agency
    (Agency)
    issued
    a draft
Part B Permit on March 15,
    1995.
    Petitioner notes a public
meeting was held on May 3, 1995 and the comment period closed
    June 2,
    1995.
The Agency advised petitioner that a permit could
be issued as early as June 30,
    1995.
    Petitioner expects to
dismiss this appeal as soon as the permit is issued,
    and requests
a status date of September 30,
    1995.
The Board accepts petitioner’s status report, noting the
Agency’s failure to file its own status report as requested.
Recognizing that a RCRA Part B Permit may be issued in the near
    future in this matter,
and that this case is almost
    6 years old,
the Board directs the parties to file another status report on or
    before September
    5,
    1995.
The report shall include a synopsis of
    the activity in this appeal,
and include an estimated time when
    the case might be resolved.
Failure to file the status report in
a timely manner will subject the petition to dismissal for want
    of prosecution.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
