    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by C.A. Manning):
    This matter is before the Board pursuant to a status report
    and a motion for stay filed by Quantum Chemical Corporation, USI
    Division on November 17,
    1994.
    The status report was filed in
    response to our order of August 11,
    1994.
    The report states that
    the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) has issued
    for public notice, a proposed NPDES permit which if finally
    issued in its original format, would resolve the issues pending
    in this adjusted standard case.
    To provide sufficient time to
    complete the public comment period, Quantum requests a 60—day
    extension of the stay in this matter.
    Quantum indicates that it
    will withdraw the petition if the permit is issued prior to the
    expiration of the stay.
    The motion is hereby granted.
    The stay in this matter shall
    be extended until February 16,
    1995.
    Quantum is directed to file
    an additional status report on or before Thursday, February 9,
    1995 indicating the status of the permit.
    If the permit is
    issued prior to February 9,
    1995,
    Quantum is requested to file
    the appropriate motion withdrawing the petition.
