IN THE MATTER OF:

)
(Adjusted Standard)
STANDARD FROM 35 ILL.
ADM.
CODE 218 SUBPART DD
ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by M. McFawn):
This matter is before the Board on a joint motion for
extension of time filed by the parties on October 27,
1994.
The
parties seek an additional 30 days for petitioner Chase Products
Company
(Chase)
to file its amended petition,
extending its
deadline until December 1,
1994.
Chase filed its original petition on February 14, 1994.
On
March 3,
1994, the Board accepted Chase’s petition but noted that
it was not yet complete.
The Board directed Chase to file an
amended petition on or before April
15,
1994.
On April
1,
1994,
the parties filed
a joint motion requesting an extension of time
until May 27,
1994 for Chase to file its amended petition, which
the Board granted.
On May 27,
1994, the parties
filed a second
joint motion for extension of time, seeking an extension until
July 12,
1994 which the Board granted by order issued June 2,
1994.
On July 12,
1994, the parties filed a third motion for
extension of time until August 12,
1994, which the Board granted
by order issued July 21,
1994.
On August
11,
1994,
Chase filed a
fourth motion for extension of time until October 31,
1994, which
the Board also granted by order dated September
1,
1994.
In support of their joint motion, the parties indicate that
Chase submitted a draft a co—petition to the Agency,
and that the
Agency recently provided Chase with a revised draft incorporating
the Agency’s suggested changes.
The motion also indicated that
the parties have met to discuss technical issues,
as a result
of
which the Agency has requested Chase to submit a technical
support document.
Chase indicates that it is now in the process
of developing this document.
The extension of time is requested
in order to allow Chase to develop the technical support document
and to complete its review of the Agency’s recommended changes to
the co—petition.
Accordingly, the fifth joint motion for extension of time is
hereby granted.
To avoid the necessity of yet another such
motion, the Board will grant the extension until January
3,
1995.
Chase is directed to file an amended petition or a joint petition
on or before January
3,
1995.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
