    ORDER OF THE BOARD

    Manning):
    On September 10,1993, the Board received a joint status report
    accompanied by a motion to file instanter from the parties.
    The
    status
    report
    indicates
    that
    the
    parties
    are
    working
    toward
    settlement
    of
    the outstanding
    issues
    in
    this
    case.
    The Board
    hereby grants the motion to file instanter and accepts the status
    report.
    The parties are directed to submit an
    additional
    joint
    status report by December
    1,
    1993.
    We acknowledge that the decision deadline has been extended to
    June 30, 1994 pursuant to the Petitioner’s waiver contained in the
    status report.
    The Board directs the Clerk’s office to make the
    appropriate entry in the Clerk’s file.1

    ‘We note that including the waiver in a status report does not
    comport with 35
    Il1.Adm.Code 101.105; however, the Board has been
    willing
    to recognize such waivers
    in the past and will do
    so
    in
    this
    case.
    However,
    in the future the Board requests that Olin
    Corporation
    file
    the waiver
    with
    the
    Clerk’s
    office
    in
    a
    form
    conducive to Section 101.105.
    Filing a statutory deadline waiver
    in
    accordance
    with
    this
    Section
    facilitates
    administrative
    recordkeeping and ensures proper notation of the decision date.
