    This matter arises
    upon the Board’s own
    initiative.
    On

    in
    response
    to
    a motion
    asserting that
    Petitioner was delinquent
    in filing briefs, this
    Board entered
    an
    order requiring
    the City
    of
    Farmington
    to file the
    required
    brief
    no
    later than December
    9,
    1988 or else this matter would
    be
    subject
    to dismissal.
    Board
    records
    show that
    a true
    and
    exact
    copy
    of that order
    was mailed
    on
    November
    30,
    1988 by certified
    mail.
    The date of this order
    is
    well
    beyond
    the
    December
    9,
    1988
    deadline,
    yet there
    has
    been no filing
    of
    a
    brief
    nor
    has
    Petitioner motioned
    for
    an extension of the
    time
    in which
    to
    file
    the required brief.
    This matter
    is dismissed with prejudice;
    the
    docket
    is closed.
