IN THE MATTER OF:

)
R86-18
ORGANIC EMISSION GENERIC
RULE
ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by J. Marlin):
On June
13, 1988, Viskase Corporation
(Viskase)
filed
a
Motion for Withdrawal and Reconsideration.
On June
30,
1988,
the
Board granted the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency’s
(Agency) request
for
an extension
of time
to respond
to the
motion.
In the June 30th Order,
the Board directed the Agency to
file
a response by July
11,
1988;
no response was filed.
Instead, the Agency filed a Motion
to Stay on July
12,
1988.
In its July 12th motion,
the Agency requests that
the Board
stay its decision on Viskase’s motion until further
notification.
The Agency asserts that recent legislative action
may obviate the need for the Board
to rule on Viskasets motion.
According
to the Agency, Viskase concurs with
the Agency’s
motion.
As
a result,
the Board will not dispose of Viskase’s June
13th motion until either Viskase files
a motion
to withdraw its
June 13th motion or
the Agency files a response
to the June
13th
Viskase motion.
Additionally,
the response deadline imposed
by
the Board’s June 30th Order
is superseded by today’s Order.
IT
IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn,
Clerk
of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board,
hereby certify that the above Opinion and Order was
