ORDER OF THE BOARD ON MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME
(by Mr. Henss):
Respondents have requested a 30—day extension of time for
compliance with Paragraph
4 of the Boardts Order adopted
September
4,
1975.
Paragraph 4 requires Respondent East Lawn
Water Company
to submit a compliance plan to the Environmental
Protection Agency by September
15, 1975 and send
a copy of that
compliance plan to the Pollution Control Board.
Respondents
state that the extension of time is necessary since Respondents
did not receive a copy of the Order until
8 days after it was
adopted and it would be impossible to comply with the requirements
of Paragraph
4 by September 15,
1975.
The Motion for Extension of Time is granted.
Paragraph
4
of
the
Board Order shall now read as follows:
“Respondent shall submit a compliance plan to the
Agency by September
30, 1975 and shall send a copy
of the compliance plan to the Pollution Control
Board.
The compliance plan shall show that Re-
spondent will eliminate the violations which have
been proved in this case and will come into compliance
with the Regulations by November
15,
1975.
The
compliance plan shall be accompanied by a performance
bond in the amount of $5,000 to guarantee performance
of all aspects of the compliance
plan.
Respondent
shall proceed immediately with installation of
a
master meter, chlorination equipment and an air
compressor at the well site and shall provide the
well operator with an Agency approved chlorine
test kit no later than September
30,
1975.

The Environmental Protection Agency shall provide
the Board with an assessment of Respondent’s
compliance plan within 15 days after receipt of the
plan.”
