    Ladies and Gentlemen:
    We are writing you this letter in connection with the Pollution Control Board matter that is
    referenced above and concerns the permitting ofthe United Disposal Transfer Station located in
    Bradley, Illinois.
    We would like to express our view that this facility is
    an important community resource.
    In fact,
    it is vital to the cost-effective management oflocally generated solid waste, both residential and
    commercial and industrial.
    This will be even more pertinent given the pending closure of
    Kankakee County’s only landfill, Kankakee RDF.
    We would like you to consider this view during your deliberations aboutthe future ofthe United
    facility.
