This is
a petition asking permission
to burn up
to
a
half
ton
per
week
of
tree
limbs
and
trimmings
at
a
landfill
site.
The
petition
is
wholly
inadequate
under
our
rules,
and
it
is
dismissed.

On
the
issue
of
hardship
there
is
only
the
conclusion that to bury
the
wood
would
cause
“unreasonable
hardship and costs
not covered by their contract”;
on the
issue of the harm that
hurnina
would
cause
to
the
community
there
are
no
alle~ations
at
all.
We
shall
soon
hold
hearings
on
a
proposed
regulation
(#R
70—li)
that
would
reconsider
the
entire
question
of
open
burning
of
trees.
The
petitioner
will
be
free
to
submit
an
application
containinr
proper
allegations
after
we
have
considered
the
proposed.
