MILFORD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
V.
)
#71—316
MILFORD CANNING CO. and
ARMOUR & CO.
Opinion
& Order of the Board
(by Mr. Currie)
This citizen complaint,
denominated a “formal” one,
was filed by the Chamber of Commerce alleging odors from
a canning operation and an associated feed
lot.
We inquir-
ed whether the Chamber desired us to schedule a hearing
in which it could prove its allegations, and we also referred
the matter to the Environmental Protection Agency for inves-
tigation.
The Chamber has indicated that it does not wish
to proceed to hearing, and we therefore dismiss
the case
from the formal docket without prejudice.
We trust the
Agency will take whatever action is appropriate.
I,
Christan Noffett, Clerk of the Pollution Control Board,
