These three petitions seek extensions of the sewage treat-

ment deadlines

set by the Sanitary Water

Board.

We have recent-

ly altered those regulations, adopting

a December

1973. deadline

for treatment beyond secondary.

The petitions

evidently drafted before that enactment

(#R 71-14, March

7,

1972).

We therefore ask the parties to reconsider their petitions

in light of the changed regulations,

and,

if variances

are still

deemed necessary,

to submit amended petitions within

20 days

in accordance with the new regulations.

If we do not hear

from the petitioners within that time we

shall assume their

requests have become moot and dismiss them without prejudice.
