BOARD ON MOTION FOR MODIFICATION OF ORDER(BY SAMUEL

Petitioner has moved for modification of this Board’s Order
entered November 28,
1972 herein, on the grounds,
inter alia,
that
petitioner has no control over and cannot be held responsible for the
actions taken by the North Shore Sanitary District with respect to the
District’s compliance with the State water pollution regulations.
We
believe the motion to be well founded, and it is hereby granted.
This
Board’s November 28, 1972 Order is hereby amended to delete Paragraph 2
thereof, and to substitute the following:
2.
“The North Shore Sanitary District certifies
that,
according to projections as to the level of treatment
to be available in September,
1974, discharge of effluent
from the North Chicago treatment plant including the added
waste load from petitioner’s development will meet the
relevant standards of the water pollutiQn regulations of
the State of Illinois.”
I, Christan Moffett, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board,
certify that the above Order was adopted by the Board on the
