    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
     
    On June 3, 2004, petitioner participated in a telephone status conference with the hearing
    officer. Respondent did not appear. As last reported, petitioner has learned that respondent
    needs a site classification work plan which would require borings for test samples. Petitioner
    first wants to be sure that respondent will reimburse these costs, but has not heard back from
    respondent’s technical unit. At the next status conference, petitioner should be prepared to
    answer the question of how it will proceed with the case if the costs are not reimbursed.
     
      
    The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
    officer at 11:30 a.m. on July 6, 2004. The status conference shall be initiated by the petitioner.
     
    Petitioner has filed an open waiver of the decision deadline in this case.
