    HEARING OFFICER ORDER

On June 23, 2005, a telephonic status conference was held. Respondent was present.
The petitioner subsequently left a voicemail. Respondent represented that it presumes that the
status of this appeal remains the same, with the petitioner proceeding with internal discussions
regarding most recent draft of the site-specific rulemaking document. At the April 7, 2005
telephonic status conference, the petitioner remained optimistic that it will file the site-specific
rulemaking with the Board that is modeled after R02-20, Horween Leather Company Site-
Specific Air Rule, 35 Ill. Adm. Code 218.112 and 218.929 (Feb. 20, 2003) in the future.

Due to the antiquated posture of this matter, the petitioner is directed at the next status
conference to inform the hearing officer whether it will proceed with this appeal or file a motion
to voluntarily dismiss. Either way, the hearing officer expects that this matter proceed in an
    expedited manner.

The parties are directed to participate in a telephonic status conference with the hearing
officer on August 18, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. The status conference must be initiated by the
petitioner, but each party nonetheless is responsible for its own appearance. At the status
conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and
    their readiness for hearing.

    IT IS SO ORDERED.
