ORDER OF THE BOARD (by T.E. Johnson):
This matter is before the Board on a petition filed by Simpson Auto Service (Simpson)
asking the Board to review a November 13, 2003 determination of the Illinois Environmental
Protection Agency (Agency). The petition was filed in regards to Simpson’s underground
petroleum storage tank site at 600 Berkshire, East Alton, Madison County.
On July 6, 2004, Simpson filed a motion to dismiss the petition. In the motion, Simpson
asserts that the matters for which the petition was filed have been fully compromised and settled.
The motion is granted. The Board hereby dismisses the petition, and closes the docket.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, certify that the Board
adopted the above order on July 22, 2004, by a vote of 5-0.
Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk
Illinois Pollution Control Board
