ORDER OF THE BOARD

This matter is before the Board on a status report filed
June 10,
1993, by Olin Corporation and the Illinois Environmental
Protection Agency
(Agency).
The parties report that they have
been actively pursuing settlement and that they have agreed in
principle to coordinate the closure of several units involved
in
this appeal.
The parties also state that pursuant to settlement
discussions, Olin has submitted to the Agency a draft
closure/post-closure plan for three of the units involved in this
appeal.
Additionally, Olin has submitted certificates of clean
closure for the other units which are subjects of this appeal.
Finally,
the parties state that if an agreement on the closure
certifications and the details of the modified closure/post—
closure plan is reached, Olin will move for a dismissal of this
appeal.
The parties are ordered to file a status report in this
matter on or before September 17,
1993,
in the event this appeal
has not been dismissed.
