AS 94-4
COMPANY
FOR AN ADJUSTED

(Adjusted Standard)
STANDARD FROM 35 ILL. ADM.
)
CODE 218 SUBPART DD
)
ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by N. McFawn):
On April
1,
1994 Chase Products Company (Chase)
filed a
joint motion for extension of time,
in which it requests that it
be given until May 27,
1994 to submit an amended petition.
The
motion states that the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency
(Agency) has no objection to the motion and has authorized Chase
to file it as a joint motion.
Pursuant to a Board Order of March
3,
1994, Chase was
required to file an amended adjusted standard petition by
April
15,
1994.
(The parties incorrectly state in their motion
that the amended petition was due April 29,
1994.)
The motion
indicates the Agency intends to inspect Chase’s operations,
and
to meet with Chase to further discuss the relief requested in the
initial petition.
The parties hope that these negotiations will
enable them to reach agreement as to the appropriate standard to
be applied to Chase in order to more quickly resolve this matter.
The joint motion
is hereby granted.
Chase is given until
May 27,
1994 to file its amended adjusted standard petition.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy N. Gunn,
Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certify that the above order was adopted on the
