HEARING OFFICER ORDER

 

 

On May 19, 2004, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the

hearing officer. The parties represented that settlement discussions are proceeding. The

respondent represented that an intergovernmental agreement is being drafted and will be

circulated for review. The parties also represented that a host agreement is being drafted and

will be circulated for review. The petitioners represented that they will file a 90-day waiver of

the statutory decision deadline.

 

The parties are directed to participate in a telephonic status conference with the hearing

officer on August 19, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. The status must be initiated by the petitioners, but

each party is nonetheless responsible for its own appearance. At the status conference, the

parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and their readiness

for hearing.
