    ORDER OF THE
    BOARD
    (by J.
    C. Marlin):
    This
    matter is before the Board as a permit appeal of
    conditions contained in the Illinois Environmental Protection
    Agency’s modification of closure plans for several of Olin’s
    hazardous waste sites located in East Alton, Illinois.
    On
    January
    6,
    1993, the parties filed a joint status report pursuant
    to a November 19,
    1992 Board order.
    On January
    6,
    1993, Olin
    filed a waiver extending the decision deadline until May 1, 1994.
    The joint status report states that the parties conferred by
    conference call on December 4,
    1992.
    The status report also
    states that the parties have agreed to postpone final closure of
    the units subject to this appeal until a RCRA facility
    investigation which is planned as part of the facility’s Part B
    hazardous waste permit,
    is implemented.
    In addition, the parties
    report that they have planned another conference call for
    February 2,
    1993 in order to further discuss this action.
    Finally, the parties report that they believe that most of the
    issues in this appeal may be resolved without a hearing.
    The Board hereby orders the parties to file their next
    status report on or before April
    7,
    1993.
