    ORDER OF THE BOARD (by C.A. Manning):
     
    On August 14, 2001, ChemRex, Inc. (ChemRex) filed a petition for review of an Illinois
    Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) determination disapproving ChemRex’s
    groundwater and off-site soil investigation report and corrective action plan (characterized by the
    Agency as a High Priority Corrective Action Plan and budget). ChemRex’s facility is located in
    Chicago Heights, Cook County.
     
     
    The Board accepts this matter for hearing. The Board's rules require that the Agency file
    its entire record within 30 days of notice of the petition. See 35 Ill. Adm. Code 105.116.
    Hearings must be scheduled and completed in a timely manner, pursuant to the applicable
    statutory decision deadline, or the deadline as extended by waiver. See 35 Ill. Adm. Code.
    101.308, 105.114.
     
      
    On August 14, 2001, the petitioner also filed a waiver of the decision deadline for 60
    days to February 11, 2002.
