ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by C.A. Manning):
On December 27,
1994, General Motors Corporation, Powertrain
Division (GM) filed a status report.
GM reports that several of
the issues involved in this instant permit appeal will be
resolved shortly,
including the receipt of a final, site—specific
rule for the discharge of fluoride which the Board is
adopting
today in R93-13.
GM also reports that the company and the
Illinois Environmental Protection Agency are working to resolve
the remaining issues without holding a hearing.
So that the parties may resolve this case amicably, we have
granted a stay until July 1, 1995 and GM has submitted a
statutory decision waiver until October 31,
1995.
However,
because the Board requires 120 days in which to schedule and hold
a hearing should one become necessary, we are setting the next
status report due date for June 8,
1995, and at that time,
if GM
does not wish to go to hearing, another motion for stay and a
decision deadline waiver must
be filed.
If a waiver is not
received, this case will be set for hearing at the June 15,
1995
Board meeting.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn,
Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby ce,rtify that the above order was adopted on the
