ORDER OF THE BOARD (by N. J. Melas):
On July 16, 1999, respondent Bi-Petro filed a “Motion for Extension of Time” to
answer or otherwise plead to complainant’s February 5, 1999 complaint.
The Board has extended Bi-Petro’s deadline to answer the complaint twice before in
this matter. The current extended deadline is July 22, 1999.
Complainant has not objected to Bi-Petro’s most recent motion for an extension. Bi-
Petro states that the parties are close to resolving this matter through an agreed settlement.
The Board finds that the new deadline for filing a response will not prejudice complainant.
The Board grants Bi-Petro’s motion and orders that the deadline for filing a response be
extended to August 23, 1999.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, hereby certify that
the above order was adopted on the 22nd day of July 1999 by a vote of 5-0.
Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk
Illinois Pollution Control Board
